Today, President Lennart Meri received at Kadriorg Mr Rolf Ekeus who recently took up the post of the OSCE High Commissioner of National Minorities. In the course of a friendly conversation, Estonian daily politics and its possible future developments were discussed. Rolf Ekeus expressed his appreciation of the development of Estonia in the past decade and President Meri acknowledged that there are no problems with national minorities in Estonia. At the same time he expressed his appreciation of the OSCE mission that has helped Estonia a great deal.
